Forward prices are sliding further Tuesday morning, as forecasts are still mostly wet and mild. Q1-07 is being traded at the bottom of the range seen lately, at around EUR 38.50-39.00/MWh.
“There are few signals pulling in an upwards direction. The weather forecasts are still wet and quite mild, although a high pressure above central Europe will lead to somewhat drier conditions and less wind. We will get rid of some of the surplus in the system, as there will be quite a lot of export from Norway,” says portfolio manager Per Arne Austli at Trønderenergi.German
