Nordic power prices are rising on Monday amid more delays to the restart of nuclear reactors in Sweden and drier forecasts, players said.
The bellwether Q1 10 contract was last seen trading at EUR 39.60/MWh, up 95 cents day on day, while YR 10 had gained 65 cents to EUR 37.95/MWh. "The weather forecasts are drier than on Friday and in addition I think we are seeing a reaction to the news of more problems to the Oskarshamn reactors in Sweden,” said Jens Nordberg, trader at Göteborg Energi Din El in Sweden.
