Nordic power prices are continuing up on Friday morning due to a mix of dry weather forecasts and Thursday's strong rise in the oil market, players said.
The Q1 10 contract last traded at EUR 39.00/MWh at Nord Pool, up EUR 0.55 from Thursday. YR 10 was up 30 cents at EUR 37.65/MWh. "I think today's price movements are a fair adjustment to slightly drier weather forecasts and the rise we saw on oil yesterday amid positive GDP figures in the US,” said Poul-Erik Hansen at Energi Midt Handel in Denmark.
