Nordic power prices are adjusting up in line with fuel prices on Tuesday, but the trend remains bearish due to persistent wet forecasts, players said.
The Q3 11 contract was last seen trading at EUR 53.20/MWh, up 20 cents from Monday, when the contract dropped EUR 2.18 to its lowest level since 8 April.
"The early weather forecasts were slightly drier than we saw yesterday and we also see a slight upward correction on fuels and even the stock exchange,” said Atle Sørsdal, trader at Norwegian utility Hafslund.
