Nordic power prices have opened up on the back of a dry end to the monthly weather forecast on Friday, players said.
The Q3 11 contract hit EUR 54.75/MWh in early trade, but was last seen at EUR 54.45/MWh, up 50 cents day on day. "The main reason for the price increase is the fresh monthly weather forecast, which is wet in the beginning but then turns dry,” said a Norwegian trader.
