Nordic forward prices are moving sideways on Friday morning due to a mix of dry weather forecasts and increased nuclear power production.
The November contract last traded at EUR 45.45/MWh at Nasdaq OMX, down EUR 0.15 from Thursday, while the Q1 12 contract last changed hands at EUR 46.75, up EUR 0.05. The curve was rising Friday morning due to slightly increasing coal and German power prices. The dry weather was also adding buy pressure to the market, Henrik Ros, trader at Swedish supplier Din El, said.
