Wet forecasts and higher coal prices are increasing the gap between the short and far end of the Nordic power curve this morning. The spot price development in southern Norway holds the key for further price movements.
The Q3-08 contract fell to an intraday low of EUR 50.80/MWh this morning amid wet forecasts, but has later adjusted upward to a last trade of EUR 52.00 (-0.45).
