Nordic Market - Forwards up as high pressure threatens

The forward contracts are up 2-3 NOK/MWh this morning amid dry forecasts. Liquidity is low, however, and market players seem reluctant to go on a buying spree.
– We have dry forecasts this morning, and the main question now is how much a high pressure overRussia is going to affect the Nordic region. This influence was very strong in the first EC forecast. However, the market does not seem convinced, and the mood is hesitant, a Norwegian trader said.Most of the activity has again been on the V1-05 contract, which is up 3.25 NOK/MWh at 251.
