Nordic Market - Following the German bulls

In spite of a weak system price, Nordic forward prices are up from Friday. Players point at soaring German prices and drier forecasts as the most important price driving elements.
Prices opened down this morning, but have later increased past Friday’s settlement. Q1-06 is traded in a EUR 38.70-39.65/MWh range so far today, last changing hands at 39.45 (+0.55).“German prices are still increasing, and the weather will get drier. Nordic Market - Drying up
The system price is expected to come up again for tomorrow as Norway dries up and colder temperatures force people to switch on their electrical heating. However, forward prices are coming down this morning, mainly as a reaction to yesterday’s gains. Q1-06 is down almost a euro from yesterday.
