Market - V2-03 dips below NOK 234

Prices continue a few NOKs down this squeezed in Friday, seeing the V2-03 down NOK/MWh 3.25 on thin liquidity. Forecasts are uncertain for next week, but players powernews.org spoke to this morning believed in a further downside.
The V2-03 contract opened the day on par with its Wednesday closing price of NOK/MWh 236.75, but has since fallen back NOK 3.25, last trading at NOK/MWh 233.50. An international trader expected this contract to continue down next week.“Its down today despite a slightly drier forecast. That is a strong signal for a further downside. Market - A weak link
Inflow is high and the spot is weak, factors that were confirmed this afternoon. The Thursday system price was fixed at 165.36 NOK/MWh (-45.27) and reservoir figures were significantly up in both Norway and Sweden. The drier weather outlooks presented this afternoon decelerated a further fall, but the market remained red throughout the afternoon, and an international trader said that he really wanted to be bearish now.
