Market - Sweet and low

The Monday morning session was in a bearish, thin state and the autumn contract gapped down 6 NOK at open. More rain and a weak spot are the factors that cause this, and players said today that if the weather prognosticated delivers, V2-03 will be traded below 220 NOK/MWh this week.
High amounts of precipitation are priced into the present curve, and the trend is clearly pointing south. The rain seen in today’s weather forecasts will have to deliver, however, and a Norwegian producer argued this morning that the Monday gap is first and foremost a weather drop.
