The Thursday open was truly gappy and V2-03 shot up to 290 NOK/MWh, seeing that the weather forecasts are very pleasant for the sun-worshippers, but in a thin market. A Norwegian player characterized the lift as “madness” and said that upwards is ok, but not this much.
A Swedish trader pointed out that the strong spot damps down future pressures. Prices sagged down during the morning session, and V2-03 came to a standstill at 285/286 NOK/MWh. The autumn contract has lifted some 30 NOK since Monday, which is a movement that almost speaks for itself. YR-04 has speeded up considerably as well, trading up to 234 NOK/MWh this morning, which is a lift of more t
