Market - Jittery but bull

After the rather incredible lift at the beginning of the week, the Thursday morning market continued correcting down from the weak Wednesday close. Players are not very surprised about this, and no panicky sentiment has been introduced. On the contrary, profits taken are huge, and during morning hour trading the direction was back north again.
Bull incentivesA slightly nervous market that jumps up and down, mainly up one could say, was witnessed again this morning. After profits were taken yesterday somebody wanted it further down this morning, but the trend is so evidently up that a 10 to 20 NOK correction seems almost bleak in the larger picture. Market - Now we´re talking
The very careful morning market suppressed all its bizarre ideas about a possible negative price development ahead as the system price surprised on the upside and weather outlooks are cold. At the most, V1-03 was up at 368.00 NOK/MWh, a movement of 25 NOK from this morning.

The very careful morning market suppressed all its bizarre ideas about a possible negative price development ahead as the system price surprised on the upside and weather outlooks are cold. At the most, V1-03 was up at 368.00 NOK/MWh, a movement of 25 NOK from this morning.

Market - To be lifted
The Friday morning was a thin affair, and both the V1-03 and SO-03 contracts traded down a few NOKs at open, a fall contributed to the mildish outlooks and the considerable lift witnessed earlier this week. But the sellers pulled out as O1 was reported to be delayed, while the overall jump was a reaction to an exceptionally cold AVN.

The pattern repeats itself and there is nothing stopping the market from moving further north as the underlying strength is continuously confirmed by dry and cool weather prognoses. “It is impossible to predict the top here, any high figure could be correct. We just have to make sure that we don’t start selling out too soon,” a Norwegian trader argued. Presently the figures speak for themselves: V1-03 has traded up from 298.00 NOK/MWh Friday afternoon to 357.00 NOK/MWh at the highest today.
