Market - Fear, and loading in Norway

The Monday morning market opened down in the front and up in the forwards. An international trader argued that “someone set V2-03 high this morning,” but that players were more eager to sell, taking the contract back below 290 NOK/MWh. Weather forecasts are drier than before the weekend, but 2 TWh above normal amounts have been delivered since Friday.
The fear of dry weather and the industrial holidays coming to an end are factors that keep prices up this morning, a Swedish player said. The trader and player both argued that within a couple of months prices would very likely be higher than they are today.
