Precipitation levels were far below normal in most areas of Scandinavia in October, and today’s forecast indicate a similar start to November. The market’s answer is to climb another level day by day, and a further NOK 10 on Winter1 when the market opens on Monday is likely if the weather forecasts remain the same over the weekend, according to an international trader.
According the SMHI, Precipitation levels in Norway and Sweden were around 50% last month varying from 25% in Northern Norway to almost normal levels in the border areas between Norway and Sweden.
