Brent crude came off almost two dollars on Monday as bearish signals came out of the Opec meeting in Vienna. Elsewhere, the picture was mixed, with forward prices for both gas and coal firmer yesterday.
After the rally which sent Brent crude for April up to USD 64.18/barrel on Friday, oil on Monday dropped down below levels seen one week ago as Opec members signaled they would keep production at current levels.
