Crude prices have hardly changed from prior-session closes on Thursday morning after a bearish US stock inventory report led the contracts to fall from earlier dollar-led gains, traders said.
The front month Brent North Sea crude contract was last seen USD 0.20 softer at USD 77.75/bbl, while the WTI contract went through last at USD 74.73/bbl, USD 0.03 higher day on day.
On Wednesday, the Brent contract closed at USD 77.95/bbl, USD 0.47 lower day on day, while WTI finished the session USD 0.26 lower at USD 74.71/bbl.
