Oil prices are trading flat on Wednesday morning after falling in the previous session after a US inventory report showed an unexpected rise in crude stocks, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.02 at USD 78.40/bbl on the ICE platform, while the WTI November contract - the new front month - traded USD 0.27 higher at USD 75.24/bbl.
On Tuesday, the Brent contract closed down USD 0.90 at USD 78.42/bbl, following an intraday high of USD 80/bbl, while the WTI contract shed USD 1.22
