Oil prices are trading flat on Friday morning after a mixed previous session amid renewed concerns over demand growth and rising European equities, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands down USD 0.05 at USD 78.63/bbl on the ICE platform.
On Thursday, the contract closed up USD 0.54 at USD 78.68/bbl, after peaking at USD 79.10/bbl, while the WTI July contract on Nymex shed USD 0.88 to end the day at USD 76.79/bbl.
