Oil prices are edging lower on Thursday morning after rising in the previous session despite mixed crude oil inventory data, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 77.72/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.42 on Wednesday's close.
"Oil has drifted down a touch on Thursday as it was losing a bit of momentum after gains in recent sessions. In addition, the US dollar has firmed against the euro,” said David Moore, chief commodity strategis
