Crude oil traded above the USD 69 a barrel level on Friday as the tense situation in the Gulf kept the market on its toes.
On Friday, the Brent traded as high as USD 69.14 before settling at USD 68.10 a barrel, up 22 cents compared to Thursday’s fix. Meanwhile, week on week the contract leaped nearly five dollars amid heightened geopolitical tension between Iran and the UK.
