Oil prices rose further Thursday afternoon on increased tensions in the Iran dispute. Coal, gas and carbon markets also headed north yesterday.
Iran refuses to free 15 British sailors and marines, which adds to concern that strained relations with the UK and US may disrupt supplies, Bloomberg reports. Oil prices have risen seven per cent since the naval seizure. Crude oil for May delivery closed at USD 66.03/barrel yesterday, but gained 68 cents to USD 66.71 a barrel in after-hours electronic trading on the New York Mercantile
