Commodities - Oil softens ahead today´s Opec meeting

Oil prices softened on Tuesday ahead of today’s OPEC meeting that might decide production increases. Carbon firmed but remained below the 19 euro mark.
Oil prices eased off slightly on Tuesday. NYMEX  Crude contracts for July settled at USD 55.00/bbl, down 0.62 day-on-day. Today, the contract expires. The August contract lost 0.85 to 55.97. IPE Brent for July fell 1.05 to 53.73. Softening oil prices were mainly due to expectations of  a possible OPEC decision to increase the daily oil production by 500,000 barrels per day. Today, the OP
