Oil prices softened on Tuesday ahead of today’s OPEC meeting that might decide production increases. Carbon firmed but remained below the 19 euro mark.
Oil prices eased off slightly on Tuesday. NYMEX Crude contracts for July settled at USD 55.00/bbl, down 0.62 day-on-day. Today, the contract expires. The August contract lost 0.85 to 55.97.
