Oil prices are softening on Tuesday morning as the US dollar has firmed slightly after it fell to a 15-month low in the previous session triggering a more than USD 2 rise in Brent and WTI front month contracts, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 78.56/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.20 on the previous close.
On Nymex, the WTI December contract last traded USD 0.28 lower at USD 78.62/bbl.
On Monday, the Brent contract closed up USD 2.45 at USD 78.76/bbl, following trades in a USD 76.57-79.27/bbl range, while the WTI co
