Oil prices are rising on Monday after the market took direction from a weaker dollar in the absence of any other price-driving news, said analysts.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 77.24/bbl on the ICE platform, up USD 0.93 on Friday's close, when it closed down USD 0.46 at USD 76.31/bbl.
On Nymex, the WTI December contract ended Friday' session at USD 76.35/bbl, down USD 0.59 on Thursday's close.
