Crude prices were extending declines on Friday morning following disappointing US macro data released in the previous session, which lowered oil demand expectations, traders said.
The September contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last heard traded USD 0.27 lower day on day at USD 75.82/bbl, while the WTI August contract last went through USD 0.18 softer at USD 76.45/bbl. The August Brent contract closed and expired at USD 76.19/bbl on Thursday, down USD 0.58 on the previous session, while the WTI contract on Nymex ended the session at USD 76.62/bbl, USD 0.42 lower
