Oil prices fell by over a dollar late on Tuesday, while gas prices ended the day up and carbon gained slightly.
Crude prices dropped by more than a dollar late on Tuesday largely on the back of revised forecasts for global oil demand growth in 2006 and 2007 and an easing of geopolitical tensions appeared with indications that the US and Iran would begin to gather round the negiotiating table.
