Oil prices continued their downward trend on bearish market news. Coal and carbon also lost some value, whilst there was a mixed development in the gas market.
Oil prices reached their lowest levels in five months Monday amid expectations that OPEC would leave oil production unchanged at 28 million barrels a day. There was also some good news concerning talks between the EU and Iran, which had reportedly offered a two month suspension of its uranium enrichment programme. The ICE Brent front month traded at one point as low as USD 64.32/ barrel,
