Crude oil prices rose yesterday, and are continuing up Friday morning. The coal market also firmed yesterday, contributing to softer carbon prices.
Crude oil prices are increasing on concern that supplies of diesel and gasoline may be insufficient to meet increased consumption during the summer driving season.The front Brent month settled at USD 122.84/barrel, up 52 cents from Wednesday, and was last seen at USD 123.76/barrel on the ICE Friday morning.
