Oil prices are rising on Thursday, despite a large rise in US oil inventories, as the market awaits the outcome of Friday's key eurozone crisis talks with some optimism.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 100.08/bbl on the Ice platform, up USD 0.55 from Wednesday's close, while the WTI January contract on Nymex traded USD 0.22 higher at USD 100.71/bbl.
