With oil bullish, gas prices moved upwards last week, which then triggered higher carbon prices, according to market participants.
Continental gas prices firmed across the board this week, pushed up by strong bidding on the spot market and the buoyancy of international oil markets, writes Heren Energy. In the UK, “winter ’05 prices rose sharply in the past week, with strong bidding from banks and end-users alike,” according to Heren . Winter ’05 as a strip gained 6.75 p/th to just below 69.00 p/th.&
