Prices on the gas market are moving down on increasing supply, whilst the oil market gained in value as inventory figures drop and demand rises.
Gas prices eased off the second day in a row on Wednesday, both on the UK and continental gas markets. The decline in prices was explained by higher supply."The bull sentiment seen in the market the past two weeks is beginning to fade away," one Nordic gas trader told Montel Powernews. On the UK NBP hub, August dropped 2.25p to settle at a midprice of 28.25p/therm, while Q4-07 shed 1.45p
