Commodities - Crude oil sails north

Crude oil prices in New York rose above USD 64 on Friday and gains were also seen in the coal and carbon markets. UK gas prices were mixed, but the majority of contracts lost value.
Crude oil saw heavy gains at the end of last week amid geopolitical concerns. Nymex WTI for February settled at USD 64.21/bbl, up 1.42 day on day. The deals traded during Friday’s session ranged from 62.60 to 64.45.
