Commodities – Crude oil jumps above USD 77

Oil prices keep hitting new record levels as tensions in the Middle East escalate. This morning, the front Brent is traded at USD 77.50 on the ICE.
Oil futures soared yesterday as the Middle East tensions in the Middle East increased following Israel’s attack on neighbouring Lebanon . The bombing triggered concern that the conflict could spread to other countries in the region and ultimately affecting supplies from the large Middle Eastern oil producers. Israel has stepped up its attacks with air raids on southern suburbs in Beirut -
