Commodities – Carbon prices turned down

Prices for carbon allowances came off Thursday afternoon, after a strong opening. Oil, gas and coal prices continued the firm tendency from the previous session.
Carbon prices tumbled Thursday afternoon, with allowances dropping from an intraday high of EUR 14, to trade as low as 12.85 in the afternoon. At Nord Pool, the contract for December-06 closed at EUR 12.95/tonne, unchanged from Thursday.Players told Montel Powernews that they have not registered any new information that could trigger the fall.
