Oil prices look a touch softer on Tuesday morning as expectations of a bearish US crude oil inventory report this week is applying some downward pressure, said players.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 78.42/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.19 on Monday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI April contract was last seen at USD 80.13/bbl, down USD 0.18 on Monday's close.
On Monday, the Brent front month gained USD 0.42 to settle at USD 78.61/bbl
