Commodities – Oil over USD 60 again

Oil is over USD 60 again this moring following a strong Monday. Carnon and coal however lost in value.
Prices in the oil market continued the upward movement started at the end of last week hovering around USD 60 a barrel. That development was said to be impacted by OPEC’s announcement of an emergency meeting Thursday, to consider cutting oil production. Also news of cold weather has driven the prices up. The Nymex WTI November 06 contract settled up USD 1.37 at USD 59.94 a barrel, whilst

Crude oil is trading slightly firmer this morning a touch below the USD 60/barrel mark. Coal prices moved north on Friday, while the gas markets were mixed at the end of last week. CO2 ended the week range bound.
