Crude oil is trading slightly firmer this morning a touch below the USD 60/barrel mark. Coal prices moved north on Friday, while the gas markets were mixed at the end of last week. CO2 ended the week range bound.
Crude oil prices gained day on day Friday, but settled below the USD 60 level both inNew York and in London. The Nymex WTI front month November settled at USD 58.57/bbl, almost a dollar down from the intraday high of 59.46, but up 71 cents on the settlement price the day before. The Brent also settled up 76 cents at USD 59.52/bbl, which was some 90 cents below Friday’s highest deal.
