The oil market ended the week strong, but has eased this morning on the back of signals of a slowdown in the US economy.
Prices were up on Friday, but have since lost strength as signs of slowing growth in theUS economy dented investor confidence that prices will reach USD 100 a barrel, Bloomberg reports.In New York, the WTI front month crude settled at USD 96.32/barrel on Friday, up 86 cents day on day, while the corresponding Brent contract in London settled 39 cents above Thursday's close at USD 93.18.
