Prices in the Nordic power market are falling on Friday morning on the back of wetter weather forecasts, with some traders also pointing to weaker coal prices.
The Q1 12 contract was last seen at EUR 46.20/MWh, down 45 cents from Thursday's close, while the November contract was down 60 cents at EUR 44.05/MWh. "The weather forecasts are slightly milder and wetter this morning,” Danish traders Scanenergi said in their morning comment, explaining the price fall.
