Prices continue their strong downward direction in the Nordic power market this morning. Spot prices will gradually adjust to dramatically lower marginal costs for coal power plants, but players are still fumbling in the dark for more fundamental signals from the CO2 market.
The benchmark Q3-06 contract is down three euros at 42 this morning with the rest of the curve following suit.
