The front end of the Nordic power curve is rising on drier weather forecasts on Wednesday, while prices further out are being kept down by soft CO2 prices.
The bellwether Q2 12 contract was last seen traded at EUR 32.30/MWh, up 55 cents day on day, while the front year contract was trading flat at EUR 40.55/MWh. "It is a split market today.
