Nordic power forwards have fallen to new record lows on Thursday morning, on the back of continuous wet weather forecasts and lower fuel prices amid disappointing signals from the US Federal Reserve on Wednesday, market players said.
The bellwether Q3 12 contract hit a new record low of EUR 25.60/MWh on Thursday morning and was last seen at EUR 25.70/MWh, down 15 cents from Wednesday, while the front year contract was down 25 cents at EUR 36.10/MWh.
