A couple of weeks ago, the weak Swedish resource situation was offset by a stronger Norwegian hydro balance. Now, it is also drying out in Norway, and the Oslo system price lifts towards new heights day by day. On Tuesday the market continued its march north, and a Swedish trader argued this morning that we may only see the beginning of an even stronger bull trend.
During a very liquid Monday most contracts lifted considerably from their Friday close. Week 36 closed NOK 7.75 higher than on Friday, and the Winter2 contract broke through the strong resistance level of NOK 177 to close at NOK 178.25, up NOK 6.75 from Friday.
