(Heren Energy) - Prompt prices fell further on Tuesday, with many traders attributing the drop to lower demand on the back of extremely warm weather conditions.
The Day-ahead contract started trading at around 15.20 p/th and slipped to a low of 14.70 p/th before closing at 14.70-14.80 p/th. Many players believe the bearish trend in the Day-ahead and very prompt contracts will stabilise at current levels before rising later in the week. One player suggested that the North Sea’s Elgin-Franklin field will not return as scheduled on Thursday,
