Oil prices are trading range-bound on Wednesday morning after jumping nearly USD 3 in the previous session on the back of rising economic optimism, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 76.03/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 0.03 on the previous day's close.
On Tuesday, the March Brent contract gained USD 2.95 to settle at USD 76.06/bbl, while on Nymex, the WTI front month contract rose USD 2.80 to USD 77.23/bbl.
