Oil prices are extending prior-session gains on Wednesday morning as preliminary US data showed a "huge” week-on-week fall in crude inventory levels, analysts said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen USD 0.72 higher day on day at USD 117.78/bbl.
WTI on Nymex, meanwhile, last traded USD 0.63 firmer at USD 98.48/bbl.
