Nordic power prices are rising for the second day running on Tuesday, as players are adjusting to drier long term weather forecasts.
The Q4 11 contract was last seen traded at EUR 46.15/MWh, up EUR 1.00 day on day, while the 2012 contract was up 5 cents at EUR 46.05/MWh. "Players are reacting to drier forecasts. That is the main reason for today's movements, particularly in the front end of the curve,” said Erik Konstantin, trader at Swedish supplier Bixia.
