Oil prices are falling on Wednesday after gaining strength on the back of equity markets and a weaker dollar in the previous session.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 48.23/bbl on the ICE platform, down USD 1.00 on Tuesday's close.
Analysts said figures to be released by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) later on Wednesday were expected to show further inventory builds.
