Oil prices are gaining on Wednesday morning as the Chinese trade ministry said it will increase energy imports this year, boosting demand hopes, players said.
The front month contract for Brent North Sea crude oil was last seen changing hands at USD 122.41/bbl on the Ice platform, up USD 0.43 on Tuesday's close.
On Nymex, the WTI April delivery last traded USD 0.43 firmer at USD 105.13/bbl.
